Come see them in their new home? Maybe?

I went ahead and started my new rainbowcy/musicacy, starring Rhys (now Maroon) and Danni (now Pale Blush) as my founders.

You may find them here, if you wish :)

And here's a quick sneak peak at the two love birds in their new environment:

Musicacy 2nd View

Aren't they cute? :3

If you decide to read it I hope you'll enjoy it :) I know it's not quite the same as a wishacy, but I know what I have planned and let me tell you, it'll be pretty good ;)

So, I've decided to end it. (please read)

Hello, everyone!

I'm afraid I haven't been feeling this wishacy for a while now. I would like to tell you that it's just on a break, but I don't think that would be fair.

In short, it's over.

I understand this is sudden for you guys, but I've been toying with the idea of ending it for a while. On several occasions I've told other writers that they shouldn't write if they're not excited, passionate,... about it, so for once I've decided to take my own advice and not write while I'm not feeling it. To be honest, I doubt I'll continue, so please don't wait for an update.

However, I really like Danni and Rhys. I have been very tempted to start something new, and am equally tempted to use these two as my founders :3 Chances are it'll be a rainbowcy/musicacy (for those of you who don't know: a story where all sims are colourful and named after fruit and other foods and where each generation is based on a song), which I understand some of you might not be too fussed about (especially the colourful part). I will post one more update on here with the link, since Danni and Rhys are starting it after all, and I understand if you guys couldn't care less :)

Thank you very much to everyone who's been reading this. It's been a pleasure :)

Generation Three - Chapter Nine

BG3C9P1

This was my stage.

It was one hour before my first gig was meant to start, I was at the park early, and this was my stage.

It didn't look too impressive just yet, but the proprietor had some props stored away for performers and had agreed to let me borrow whatever I wanted - as long as I was willing to pay for it. Most of the fees were ridiculously high, but thanks to my Mum's successful career we had more than enough saved up for moments like these.

Finally, it was my first show, and I wanted it to leave a lasting impression. Preferably a good one.

While the proprietor was okay with me using this stuff he wasn't willing to help me set up, so I had to carry everything onto the stage myself. Luckily the backdrops I had chosen didn't weigh much and were made from cheap material (thick cardboard), so all we needed to do to make sure they'd stay in place was use some duct tape in the right places.

The stage looked amazing when it was all done, and I got to take my first real look at where my audience would be standing.

BG3C9P2

Oh Maker, had the park always been this big?

The first people had already started to arrive, even though there was another twenty minutes to go before I'd kick everything off.

BG3C9P3

It was weird, watching everyone turn up. There weren't too many people, it was nothing compared to the big starts who played in sold out stadiums, but it was more than I had expected. After all I was still fairly unknown, and I had only booked the gig yesterday. I was surprised that anyone at all knew about this.

BG3C9P4

Bang on half four I started my show. I even told a little joke about my surprise of having so many fans already, and to my relief everyone laughed. More importantly, it helped me calm those nerves.

By the time I started singing nerves weren't an issue any more. I was calm, I loved it, and I rocked that stage!

BG3C9P5

The flames made it difficult to see at times, but when I did get a look my audience looked happy. Most of them were even dancing and singing along, which gave my confidence a massive boost.

It was strange to think that Danni and Amy were attending their graduation ceremony at the same time. I'll admit, I was a little upset that they couldn't be here, especially Danni, but given the reason I couldn't me mad. They probably thought the same of me!

Two hours flew by and before I knew it, my first official gig as Rhys B. was over.

BG3C9P7

It had gotten dark outside, but none of my audience had left because of the time. Everyone had stayed, and everyone still looked happy. The amount of applause you could get from only a few people was amazing, and made me feel more than a little smug.

I had done it! My first show was over, and I had loved it! It was exhilarating to see them dance to my music, or sing along even, and was more determined than ever to book the next show as soon as I could. Maybe I could bring out an album, filled with my own music!

Of course, I was hardly at a stage yet where I needed bodyguards to escort me away from screaming fans, so the park cleared pretty quickly after I had sad my thank yous and bowed to my audience. Driving myself home afterwards felt strange, too. Doing something so normal after that show felt surreal, but it reminded me that I wasn't at the top just yet, no matter how much I had felt like it on that stage.

BG3C9P8

I got home and immediately phoned Danni. I felt like I had so much to tell her, and wanted to hear how her graduation had gone, too. I wanted to see her diploma, I wanted to congratulate her, I wanted - I wanted to see her all grown up. She was old enough now for us to move in together, and just the thought alone brought those dreams back into my memory.

The show had left me feeling lucky, so I thought maybe tonight could be the night for Danni and me to take things further. Maker knows I'd wanted her ever since I had dreamed about her.

I didn't say any of that on the phone, of course, but was excited when she agreed to come over right away.

BG3C9P9

It never took her long to arrive. I had never really seen her fly her broom, but I was sure that she was taking a short cut.

The evening air had cooled down a lot since my show had finished, so I was surprised to see her wear nothing but a dress. Or, I supposed, she was wearing underwear, but I meant she wasn't wearing a jacket. Nothing to cover her arms or legs.

She looked.... good. Same cute hair, same cute freckles, same beauty. Just more... grown up. And far more irresistible.

BG3C9P10

"Hey, Rhys! Thanks for inviting me over, I have so much to tell you!"

I didn't know how she wasn't freezing, she didn't even have goosebumps.

"Shall we go inside?" I asked, not actually needing it myself. I was aware of the cold, but just being near her provided me with all the warmth I needed. Danni nodded, and followed me into the house. It was fairly late, but no one was home so we had the house to ourselves.

BG3C9P11

"You look beautiful, Danni." It hadn't been my plan to just jump in like that, but the words had left my mouth without my permission. She didn't seem to mind, and leaned into me as I whispered into her ear.

"Why, thank you, Rhys. You look very handsome yourself tonight." Danni giggled into my shoulder, and I could feel the soft vibrations of her body as she leaned against me.

"How was your ceremony?"

"Good. It was nice, your sister gave a good speech!" Amy had made valedictorian - an achievement she hadn't shut up about once for the last two months. "How was your show?"

"Let's talk about that later." It felt like the right moment, so I kissed her. I was worried that I was coming on too strong too quickly  but she kissed me back without hesitation. I pulled her into my arms, and tried my best moving her into the direction of my bedroom without neglecting her. Somehow we didn't run into anything once, and before I knew she was lying before me on my bed, breathing heavily.

BG3C9P12

In that moment I was glad that we had waited, and that I hadn't been weak years ago when I had first dreamed about her. This moment was the right one, no other time would have been as perfect.

BG3C9P13

Let's just say, it was a good thing no one else was home. It would have been a very awkward conversation in the morning had anyone heard us.

Wishes fulfilled

Perform a show in the park
Sleep with Danni 2x
Give Gift to Danni

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Important, please read!

If you would like Rhys to perform in your game, let me know :D You're welcome to tell me on here or on the forum thread, so I can send you the request for his tour (I find my simPort works better if I only send one person a request rather than everyone at the same time) :)

Also, I'm back at uni now, so updates might not happen every week :/ Apologies, but deadlines :)

Also, I'm tired, so I'll proof read in the morning ^^

Generation Three - Chapter Eight

BG3C8P1

"For my next trick I need a volunteer. Any takers? Don't worry, I don't bite." Two women beside me giggled at his remark, but it left me unimpressed. His whole show did. Honestly, it was just awful.

This SimFest had been the talk of Brooklyn Hights for months, so I thought I should watch and check out my competition. So far, there wasn't much to be scared off.

BG3C8P2

Two singers had been on so far. Both of them couldn't sing had their life depended on it, but dressed like sluts and I figured that they had gotten the gig that way. At least, I hoped so because they really were bad. To my relief the audience seemed to agree with me and gave them polite applause at best.

There were a lot of people watching. Some of them were performers, some were just there for the show. I had considered joining the performers, but knew the proprietor would never give me a chance just yet. I was still fairly unknown, but had a plan to turn it around. You wouldn't believe it, but the proprietors for this park weren't easy to impress. Unless you had at least a little talent (or no values when it came to clothes) you didn't stand a chance of being allowed to perform.

When the stage mage's trick became too painful to watch I walked across the meadow, away from the stage.

BG3C8P3

I put my music box down and started singing. The sounds from the next act carried across but were faint enough for me to have a good shot. I figured there were already a fair amount of people around, plus they were all into music - or most of them were - so why not try and earn some money? And get my name out there, that, too.

It didn't take long until the first people had walked over to me and were listening. A lot of them did nod their heads to my music, and even gave tips, but more walked away again after only a few seconds of listening. This crowd was a lot harder to please than what I was used to, but each simolean they gave me was a boost to my confidence. I gave it my all, and felt like I had really made progress.

Slowly, the day went by and it was getting dark, so I went home with the intention of returning the next day. I felt confident enough now to ask for that chance, and wanted to audition sooner rather than later.

BG3C8P4

Unfortunately, I didn't get to see Danni too often any more. I was busy singing, and she was close to graduation which meant a lot of homework and studying for her. Most nights we just talked on the phone in the evening. She'd tell me about her day and her subjects, and I told her about how my job was going. We were both slowly making progress, and we definitely felt like we were moving forwards.

BG3C8P5

I was trying to juggle experimenting at the same time, since Amy and Danni were graduating together and I was slowly running out of time to find that potion. I seriously doubted that I'd find it in time for her birthday, but I wanted it to be a belated birthday present if nothing else.

At the same time I was trying to figure out what to do for Danni. It was easy to see that this city was no place for her - or any supernatural. There were places further south which were more welcoming, and were even considered a save haven for people like Danni. I wanted her to be happy, and guessed that she would never be as happy as can be while we stayed in Brooklyn Hights. She deserved a happier life than that, I just hadn't decided where to go just yet.

I spent a lot of time that afternoon experimenting, not only to help me relax a little before the audition but also for my sister's sake. Can you believe she was still talking to that doll? Whether this was real or not, she sure was determined! If it didn't work I hoped that it would help her understand, but if it did... Well, good for her.

BG3C8P6

The next morning I sang my heart out. The proprietor seemed to like it but I didn't want to read too much into it. I didn't know what kind of man he was - maybe he was just being polite?

It was still early, and hardly anyone else was around. One family was having a picnic in the middle of the field, and a woman was walking her dog, but that was it. At least that way no one was going to see me fail. If it was a fail. My confidence from the night before had shrunken a little, but I still knew that I wanted this. I deserved this.

BG3C8P7

I finished my song and waited for a reaction. Thank the Maker I didn't have to wait long, Lowell McDowell burst out into cheering and clapping almost right away. His reaction was a little exaggerated maybe, but at least it didn't leave any room for doubt.

"That was fabulous, Mr.... What did you say your name was?"

"Rhys. Rhys Blackwood, Sir."

"How would you like to perform tomorrow at half four, Rhys Blackwood?" He couldn't be serious! So soon? And it was a yes? I knew I deserved this, but even I was a little surprised at my success. It was a well known fact that these proprietors weren't easy to please!

"Yes, sir! Thank you!"

BG3C8P8

I felt elated after that, and even accepted a few sing-a-gram jobs around the city. People were hiring me for all sorts of things now. Most of them wanted to be cheered up, but the occasional romantic, mood setting job was also included. Luckily no one asked me to sing for their kids because they had finished their homework any more. (Spoiled brats, the lot of them.)

BG3C8P9

In the evening I invited Danni over. It was Amy's birthday, and I wanted to share my good news with her.

"Oh Rhys, that's fantastic news! I'm so sorry I can't be there." She would have her graduation ceremony at the same time. Witch or not, she couldn't be in two places at once.

"I'm sorry I can't be there when you accept your diploma." Danni stood on her toes and kissed me gently.

"Don't worry about that. Focus on your performance, I know you'll be great." Just as I was about to answer, my sister interrupted.

"Rhys! Come on, you're gonna miss it!"

Danni laughed. "I had no idea she was in such a hurry."

"Are you kidding? She's been talking about nothing else for two weeks." I took her hand and together we went into the kitchen, where my sister was looking somewhat impatient.

BG3C8P10

It was weird to see her age up. Or more, it was weird to think of her as an adult. Every other second she smiled at nothing, which I knew was where she saw her doll. It was even more weird to think that she still believed that he was really there, but she was so set in her belief that nothing I could say would convince her otherwise. The potion was the only thing that could settle this one way or the other.

BG3C8P12

I had trouble sleeping that night. I was trying to relax, but my mind kept going to my performance the next day. My first real performance. On a real stage.

The jump start that I needed to get my career going.

How was I supposed to sleep with all that on my mind?

When I woke up my nerves were running amok. Since my performance wasn't until the afternoon I decided to take my mind of it with more experimenting. I was close to discovering the right formula, all it took now was more determination and patience.

BG3C8P13

So far, every combination I had tried had failed, and blown up in my face. Not as a figure of speech, but really blown up in my face. A fair amount of time was spent showering so I could get the stench of burned hair and dust of my skin.

Another distraction that morning was Danni who phoned me to wish me luck. We couldn't talk for long since she was getting ready for her ceremony, but it helped me relax at least a little. Before I knew it 2pm had rolled around and it was time to leave.

BG3C8P14

The moment I had been waiting for since I was a little kid was finally about to happen.

Today was the day I became a singer.

Grr, problem with my game -.-

Hi everyone!

So my game has decided to turn sims who are part of the story into zombies. Not during the full moon, just when I started up my game after we got back from our holiday -.- I know this is a common problem if you save during a full moon, which I didn't do :( I can't switch families to try and fix it that way since I don't want Rhys to lose his wishes, and am not sure how else to fix it. I've tried resetting said sim, but that didn't work.

Does anyone know if the current patch fixes this? I haven't installed it yet, but if it fixes this issue I'll get it.

If not, is there anything I can do with MasterController?

Help, please :(
